Headache Treatment Sandy UtahNine out of ten Americans suffer from headaches and is one of the most common conditions seen in chiropractic offices.  Over the last decade, headaches represent 13% of chiropractic patient’s presenting complaints. Headaches not only have a significant adverse impact on adults but “frequent or severe headaches including migraine in the past 12 months were reported in 17.1% of children.”

A report released in 2001 by researchers at the Duke University Evidence-Based Practice Center in Durham, NC, found that spinal manipulation resulted in almost immediate improvement for those headaches that originate in the neck, and had significantly fewer side effects and longer-lasting relief of tension-type headache than a commonly prescribed medication.

There are different types of headaches and Dr. Ken Andersen has specific protocols for each different kind of headache. If you are suffering from headaches, call Andersen Chiropractic, LLC to schedule an appointment.
