This device used for pain relief, to improve flexibility, and strengthen core muscle groups. Most people are familiar with the term “core” muscle but rarely know what that term means. Majority of the time the core muscles are strong enough, but they just are not firing properly. When the spine is injured, certain muscles will contract to protect the rest of the spine. In time the spine may heal, but this protective muscle-firing pattern will continue.
This type of therapy is designed to correct these protective-firing patterns. The initial goal is for immediate and lasting pain reduction for the patient while stabilizing large global muscles of the body. When this stabilization occurs, the Central Nervous System (CNS) now has better communication with the core-muscle groups for support and protection of the spine.
